Thanks,
so, HPI is making option parts so we can run F103 foam? sweet! any timeframe?

I put 0.5mm shim in between the t-bar and o-ring so the t-bar is angled as you can see in the picture and it has more down travel. This will give you more on-power traction. I recommend to try it if your car is a little loose on-power.

I hope it helps.
ok. now your results make sence to me. you have the ball diff. i drove it on soft rubber with the stock diff, didnt work good at all. i need the ball diff. do you test for hpi ? you got all the hop ups, that i have been waiting for but cant find. how are the hpi foams, are they scale to the size or 103 size ? when can we expect them ?

Yes I did use the ball diff. We do already have this option parts in stock though. I have also used the stock gear diff but it works fine for me. It felt like less acceleration with the gear diff but it was not bad at all.

Most of the option parts i have on my car is available. The foam tire rear axle, aluminum front spindles and the foam tires will be available soon i believe. I will let you know the ETA as soon as i know.

And yes, you can use 103 foam tires with using those spindles and rear axle.

the rounded stick pack looking ones work, the square ones do NOT...I am using the reedy 3400, fits great and no power difference between that and the smc 5200 40c in my F103

Did anybody read the review in RC Car mag? They usually do good reviews but they blew this one. Running an 8.5BL in a direct drive car, then complain that its overpowered. They said the Servo saver was mushy feeling when they were running a $120 200+oz./torque servo. Come on, use some common sense when your building a car especially when your reveiwing it for a Nationally published magazine.

I've got mine built, I replaced the bushings with ceramic bearings and the rear spring with a threaded oil shock I had laying around. Gotta wait on my Tx to get back before I can drive this thing, can't wait.

Yes #61699 is the correct number for FRONT SPRING (HARD/0.55mm/5Coils).
You can buy it directly from us online if you can not find them at you LHS.

Thank you.
