Hahaha, I see what your point is. But f1 is not serious competition category like touring or 1/12th scale. We also run different brand's mini, FF touring cars as long as its the fun racing category just like f1, mini class even we have the cup racer or the switch.

Thanks.

I just wanted to mention that only reason i have been using tamiya f104 is the looks of the body. F1 rc racing for me is all about looks and the tamiya ferrari f60 body looks to me is so realistic. That is the only reason why i use the car. In fact, when i run my f10, it's always a bit faster than my f104 at almost all tracks.

Before i start using the tamiya car, i have tried to make the f10 body as cool as possible and then eventually tried to put the tamiya body on my f10. With this, the body looked really cool but it didn't look balanced with the longer wheelbase chassis and the body.

For the performance, i still pick my f10 to be honest, but again, F1 racing needs to be realistic. So we are trying to come up with more realistic bodies for the F10.

Thanks,
Hiro
Thanks for the response!

I see where you are coming from, those tamiya bodies are sick. You have to know that regardless of class popularity you still have F1 driver's looking to the product you represent to get them a podium finish. Usually a racer isn't concerned with looks but rather lap times, when you run another car, everyone will assume it's because that car is faster.

Good to hear it's your F10 that your ranked #1 in the UF1 series?!

I think Mike from Exotek is still running his F10 with the Exotek conversion as his main F1 car.

I haven't been able to run mine as of late due to product testing and development schedules but Mike Kenedy is doing quite well with his. Mike cracked the A-main in a talented field at the IIC f1 race;

Has anyone tried one of these in the stock HPI chassis or am I the only one without an exotek chassis?

Recent-model round lipos appear to be too long for the chassis and body, I've found.

Yes- I will also offer an upgrade kit for current EXO104/103 owners.

F1R is the complete conversion though;

Hy there!

I have a question regarding the use of F103 foam tires on the F10.

If i install the two required hop ups ( HPI 103023 Steering Knuckles and HPI 102917 rear ball diff set for foam wheels), is the width in the front and rear exactly the same by using F103 foam wheel tires?

Greetings Rainer
