Thats because you can't get the type B in the states

I'm pretty sure it is availale in the states, in fact you can buy it right off the HPI us site as we speak, and it's in stock.
I would of already had one in my hands if I didn't want the type C so bad

You can order a type B right off the HPI US site, there was a guy on eBay in the US selling some too, but I think he ran out.

I believe the difference between the 014 and 016 is the width. The 016 is wider so that a 6 cell battery will fit, and the 014 is narrower for a 4 cell battery. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Default HPI vs... well, everyone

Can any of you guys running the F10 comment on how a well optioned F10 (all HPI or Yeah Racing option parts, Exotek chassis, 7.4 Lipo, brushless motor, etc.) can compete against the F103 and F104 from Tamiya and the 3R F109? There are some things I like about the HPI car, but my weel-tuned F109 is pretty quick and handles well. Any comments?

There is plenty of room on the top deck. I was able to fit my very small MRT transponder between the mounting holes for the front wing.

Ball diff has a different size hex or offset something that hpi wheels won't fit?

Two different ball diff sets available on F10 shassis - for foam wheels and for rubber wheels.
foam diff set uses tamiya f103 style wheels (14mm size hex on the rear and 5 mm axle for ball bearings in the front)
rubber set uses standart TC size hexes (12mm) both front and rear. It is compatible with Tamiya F201 wheels and HPI wheels for rubber tires.
