So I picked up one these F10's on Fri and got her all ready to race with my F103 GT. I REALLY like the way it builds (compared to the Tamiya) and hopefully I'll get to race them against each other today. In fact, I like it so much, I think I'm gonna get one for the whole fam (4 total) of which the only bad part is that I'm gonna have to get at least 3 more controllers

Both have typical 27T Brushed motors, Tazer 10T ESC, Lipo bat (4000 for the GT and 2500 for the F10), 14T/70T GT gearing vs 17T/75T F10, and both have BSR low profile foam tires (purple rear & pink/orange front).

That's cool and I'd definately be interested. Just let me know what you've got and what you want for it.

Thanks. I can't remember what the shore vs color code is, but this was the recommended setup from an "insider" at BSR
I've tried them on my GT but at that time, I was having low clearance issues because of the low profile tires (but I've since learned how to raise the front without loosing vertical travel). They're having a big race at the indoor track this weekend (Tri-State Hobbies), so I won't have a chance to try them till later this week.

Is there anyone out there racing and being competitive with a F10 against the F104s and F103s with rubber tires on asphalt? I have not had good luck with my F10 keeping up.

I recently added the Exotec chassis and it made the car more drivable, but it seems real inconsistent and I have not been able to get enough turn in. I incorporated some tips from someone who drives the F10 = to the 103 and 104, I just can't get mine to work as well.

I am perfectly willing to admit it may be lack of some driving skill, but I know I am not completely incompetent as I can wheel a TC well enough.

Anyone else out there competing with F10 and Exotec chassis with success, and willing to share some setup tips?

I'm sorry but they've completely stopped making them and there's not a single one left in the entire world. So I guess you just need to sell me all your spares

BTW, JK

But being you have the exotek, get yourself one of the Tamiya F60 bodies and some decals and actually have a good looking body, not the stock I just took a dump on my chassis HPI body

Yeah, but don't you need that baby battery to run the f104 bodies? I only have the standard size lipo
