A few questions i want to get answered:

Is the holder also suitable for the 4cell Sub-C type batterys?
Does 1cell 12 scale Lipos also fit?
How much clearance is there between the upper deck and the lower deck?
How much are the shipping costs to Austria?

Greetz Rainer
Hi! Works best with standard 7.4v lipos or the mini lipos listed. The sub c and 1cell packs are underpowered.
Top plate height is the same as the current height.
Shipping to Austria is about $15USD

Hi, No locked images. Not sure why. You may need to try a different browser?

Default HPI Formula ten

Hi I got mine two days ago and I've been trying to make this car to handle a little better but it seems like I'm not making any improvement with the handling on any adjustments that I made.
I will be running on a medium traction bumpy track here in San Diego other than bridgestone tires aluminum shocks what else do I need to do to make this car handle. Next question is if I'm running Tamiya silver can what size pinion do I need to use on a small to medium size track I'm running 3300 mah stick pack 6cell. Thanks in advance..

If you're still running the stock tires, that's your problem. I think most people switch to the S-Grip.

Couple of questions for you all,

A co-worker and I are each building an F1. He is starting out stock with the chassis and Tires but used a tekin RS ESC and a Novak 10.5 Brushless motor with stock gearing. He quickly found out it was way too much motor for it and blew the tires.

Mine is still work in progress. My Exotek chassis should be in today along with Acer bearings, I will be using a Tekin RS and looking for some suggestions for which turn motor you guys would recommend.

Also, for both of us, if we wanted to use Foam tires, what would we need in order to use them ? Are there wheels that use the stock hexes ?

a 21.5 or 25.5 on the rubber tires, and only the Soft Option tires at that

TC Foams will fit the stock hexes, they just look weird.

Thanks !... so I'll get a 21.5 motor to start with.

I have the soft rubber option tires so that should get me started.

On the foams, what is different between the Tamiya F1 foam wheels and the HPI ? I'd like to find foams that would be similar in size to the stock rubber which the Tamiya's seem to be, but not sure if they would fit the stock hex of the HPI.

If you are industrious, you could probably grind off the ribs from a set of HPI rubber wheels and mount F1 foam on the now smooth wheels.
