No, I do not think Mike will be including HPI Hopups with the kit. You will get

lower chassis
Upper deck
Small CF front arm brace
Battery hold downs with Aluminum posts

It is a nice car, but stock from the box leaves something to be desired, but for 134.00....stock ties are very poor. With some hopups the car handles well, maybe better than my f103.

Nice car! What tires are you running on your car? on wich surface are you running them?

I tried nitro foams in the wintertime on a high bite carpet track, but they were not driveable. The car rolled over imideatly.

Havent tried them yet on tarmac.

Thnaks!!

I am running Kawahara 40mm 35 shore rears and Kawahara 30mm 37 shore fronts. I run on tarmac (parting lot). Also run tamiya A f201 tires, HPI S slicks....all work well. The Kawahara rears are so wide they work perfect for F1. The Kawahara website is down but, lots of shops in Japan sell the foams. With the F10 saves you buying the foam tire kit, but I would like to use softer foams.....

Couple of questions about your setup...

So without the o-rings the t-plate flexes enough to provide suitable roll characteristics? Never thought of trying that....

You used an AE VCS2 center shock... is that the stock center shock on a 10R5 or similar pan car? Or do you think any TC shock would work as long as it mounts properly to the pod and chassis? And by Black spring do you mean the 10L Center/Buggy Front spring?

Have you tried any of the 12th scale springs up front? Or did you even need to? I've heard that the AE 12th scale springs fit the front kingpins on this car.

Last, did you build the front end per the instructions? I noticed that there is an option to add or subtract shims that mount the upper a-arms to the chassis.

Thanks!!

Thanks for filling that out! Only question I have: what is the rate on the rear shock spring?

Other than that, you have done some interesting things with the setup.

My old super F1 has served me well over the years. Now I am sitting here with the new formula ten. What's my next move to get this thing on the track. Also, is the kit to change over to foams really almost twice the price of the car? Is there any other way to get foam on these things? It seems to be a good car but maybe not a great F1. I guess time (and a lot of laps)will tell.

Hi, the F10 t-plate is so perfectly flexible that the metal spacers don't effect it much except it helps the pod center better and helps with keeping the ride height level.
Stock front geometry yes.

A few questions i want to get answered:

Is the holder also suitable for the 4cell Sub-C type batterys?
Does 1cell 12 scale Lipos also fit?
How much clearance is there between the upper deck and the lower deck?
How much are the shipping costs to Austria?

Mine is on pre-order ! Can't wait... Battery size specs are listed on their web page. From what I can see, most lipo batteries will fit just fine... even some 3S !

1S LiPo´s may be to big.
Take small 1900 2S Lipos like the CS one.
They will fit.
I will order one of this ultimate Conversion kit

BTW.

Will 3Racings F109 Foam Tyres fit the optional Ball Diff Set for the F-10?
Front and rear?

Someone tested it?...

MikeR, I went to your website and tried to print the page about your new FX10 conversion, and it does'nt allow all the images to print. Do you have some sort of block on the images?
