I've heard nothing more from HPI since I asked them about the Renault and Williams bodies over a month ago.

Omalley72 apparently heard from them that we won't be getting them here in the States as HPI does'nt think there is enough interest and a lack of popularity here! They probably think that the only kind of on-road we here in America care about is NASCAR. I think the final desicions are made in Japan and that is probably how they view us over here. NASCAR nation.

That is why in the past and NOW I have asked for as many as possible to email HPI customer service and ask for these bodies so that they will get the idea that there IS interest here!!! One or two of us asking isn't going to cut it, we need EVERYONE!!!

I agree! If you want more body options, shoot HPI an email and let them know! I've almost considered switching cars just to have more options. Email HPI and let them know....

Anyone know what the rate of the spring is that included in the optional aluminum shock? I even called HPI tech support and they were unable to determine what it is.

I thought the corporate headquarters and the owner is in Cali?

Its too bad they decide to split up the world and tell us what we think we want to run.

Well, whether the decision is made in Cali or in Japan, somebody obviously has their head stuck in the sand at HPI, because it has been noted that F1 rc racing is on the rise again here in the States with more manufacturers coming out with F1 cars and more forums like this that discuss F1 rc racing.

Obviously the bean counters at HPI have taken over!

Over at the Nurmberg Toy Fair back in January HPI showed a 1969 Camaro SS! That is an AMERICAN car!! An AMERICAN ICON!!! And yet we here in America still don't have it! And no guarantees that we will. Make sense of that if you can!

This is the spec of the spring according to the part number. Pretty soft I guess;

SPRING 14x27x1.4mm 7.5COILS

Thanks for the info and reply. I am so used to thinking in terms of lbs per inch...

While I am thinking about setup, anyone out there willing to share their setup for medium grip asphalt for this car?

They have already shown that body on the VTA forum. If it does not come out in the US, they may have a bunch of Trans AM racers storming HPI HQ with torches and pitchforks

If you can find an F10 set up sheet I'll fill in my set up and post it here.
