It looks like it's gonna be a inexpensive Basic kit. The battery tray is designed for stick packs Hopefully they will release a lipo friendly pro Hara version or something. This car is gonna be good for the aftermarket hop up industry. It looks like it has alot of potential.

After thinking about this. This is smart marketing. This car will fit in the current tamiya F1 Class seemlessly, unlike a corally F1, Tamiya f104 or some other pro kit.

Looks like it will fit right in with the current F103, F104, Cross, Tech and various clones. Maybe they can make front wings that can't take a board shot or two in a race?

If ppl remember the HPI Super F1, I am sure there will be a "HARA" edition with full options....but before that, I am sure 3Racing and those HK mfr will provide a full line of "BLING" for this...

Rubber tires, new age F1 bodies with updated front rear wings....it is a MUST BUY item already. Simply a collection item....

This thing looks Friggin Kewl!

Been thinking about getting an F1 guess I'll be waiting for this to be released

It fits a stick pack so why would you say it isn't LiPo friendly

Look at the Redrc pix, you can see one shot showing the axle, and it looks like you will be able to change tires without losing your diff setting

That is worth the price of entry right there. Looks like the rear wing at least fits the Tamiya bolt pattern. I'll bet the rims do too.

It does look like a nice kit...even the plastic version. The first pics look to be the Pro version as you can see battery slots in the chassis for saddle pack. Based on the cross brace and damper disks the pod does resemble the HB 1/12th scale pod. RedRC is reporting this as a floating rear suspension? That would be interesing to see given it has damper disks and the angle of the shock. More likely it is a pivot type suspension of some type...could be t-plate, mono pivot with links, or the style the old HPI F1 car was.

I'm glad they're not the 2009 F1 wings that look like snow plows in the front and field goal posts in the back!

I think the other car in the picture is the 1/12 cyclone car..not an optioned out F1

Im looking at the curved braces inside the battery area and wondering if the square hard pack lipo's will fit.

It doesn't appear to be lipo friendly with the curved battery straps. I'd like to see more though. How about some over and under shots of the chassis. We can hope.
