Do you mean the associated rc12l4,is this axle not to short?
Can you fit jacos or crc tyres on the front axle?

No it is not to short that axle from the rc12l4 only thing is you have to make a flat spot on it for the adapter so it will not spin around

other tyres/rims won't fit because this one works with a touring car six side adapter

Perhaps it is possible to use other steering knuckels in the front to use jacos.

I hope the hpi tuning tyres will perform fine so i have not use foam tyres.

Looks great! I did the same paint shceme on my F104!

How are you guys liking your formula 10s? I had a really tough time deciding between the F104 and the HPI car, but ended up going with the F104 because (don't laugh) I liked body better since you could run 6-cells and keep the nice sculpted side-pods

well i guess i wont have any results for the soft tires i soaked the old wheels in acetone to loosen the glue so i could reuse the wheels like i always do. i went to pull the wheel out and only the tire was there. i though someone took my wheels but they desenagratde. this has never happen to me with hpi and kyosho wheels. any thoughts on this ?

The wheels are cheapo plastic--you melted them!! Too bad-- you'll need to get some Tamiya wheels or HPI wheels to mount some tires on. There's got to be a reason the car is budget!! Their saving costs somewhere.

LOL... I don't remember having a belly laugh like that reading these boards. Sorry about your experience though. Would like to hear the experts thoughts on the material used on this car, wheels, chassis etc.

Price is right but should I get the F103 or this one? I would have walked out with 1 if my wife wasn't with me today LHS started a F1 but mostly 103's and 104's just curious if I should spend the extra on Tamiya stuff?
