Nice car and a zielke racing body as well!! I drove my friends moth car last season and the first time out it was faster than my car. Only problem I saw with his was it was super fragile and the parts quality was not very good. If they could improve that I would get one... maybe two!!

Mmm they are not as fragile as you might think and will handle most common racing bumps and knocks as well as any other brand... I have been racing mine for well over a year and haven't broken a suspension or chassis part yet... I have broken one bumper but that was after running into a concrete wall at full throttle thanks to some radio interference..

Parts quality does seem a little bit random but it all depends on which version of a part you have... they've changed rear uprights several times, pulleys a couple of times and even some chassis pieces have been revised based on the feedback they get

Thanks Shadow, you supplied much of the needed input and I greatly appreciate your time and effort towards this... I would also like to mention that the factory is still very supportive of this car... Sunday afternoon I emailed Chris at TMR about an issue I had with a couple of the rear hubs I purchased as spares and before the day was out, he had replied and offered to replace them right away; This was on a Sunday guys... Pretty rare in my experience. All this to say that if anybody is undecided on this car or company, you need to lay all that to rest and just go buy one... you will not be disappointed! The car and the service are first rate ....

Have to agree on the factory support... Chris sent me some updated pulleys (to Australia) for nothing... you can't knock that

I ran my friends car again on friday night. He's running 17.5 carpet with jaco blues. The car was a little loose in the rear and we made an adjustment before the night was out that seemed to help the car tighten up a little. But i might have to fire him as a pit man because the wheel nuts fell off twice. Anyone else ever have a problem with this?

Yes... especially if running a spool... you can use loctite but make sure its not too strong... or put new wheel nuts on every few runs on the ones that come loose OR swap the nuts from side to side

This thread has been quiet for a while. I noticed a couple of pages back , that shocks are now supplied with the car.
Are they alloy or plastic-bodied ?? Any good , or go for TRF ??

thank you for being an educated smart ass...

yes I have done the a search even did a search on retch, I sent them emails with no response, I didn't see a phone number listed so I figured to ask an innocent question on this forum.

I do thank you for brning some fat by doing extra google work for me by being the online smart ass that you might be.

OK I guess I was feeling a little snippy then. I deserve that but I don't think I deserve the misspelling. That is just going too far . Seriously I do apologize for being too snippy.

I talked to Chris just the other day the car and all parts are available. Just leave him a message at 603-239-4328. The first time I called him he called me back that night.

BTW the calorie burn for YAHOO is higher than GOOGLE. GOOGLE has too much fat.
