Standard kit diff cases, my tc3 is old and a bit worn, over 3 years ive had it now and the screw threads have gone on the front, got some normal self tappers in until i can get to the hobby shop though and its working just fine.

Anyone here have the Warpspeed diff cases? I have a few questions. How are they overall? Do they run freely? Never strip the screws? And how much is it for front and rear diff cases to do 1 whole TC3?

Thanks in advance,
etzkev

etzkev,

I have them in my car and yes, they do make a big difference. They run very freely and I have not stripped a single screw. It is $35 for a full front and rear set. Send an email to wa[email protected] to get a set.

Brian

Thanks so much for your help. Do you guys accept PayPal? I was talking to Ariel, and he was acting like they were very expensive, but $35 for front and rear is great! You are talking about getting two full cases (4 halves)....right? Thanks again. I really am tired of the associated ones.

berger is that still the same shaft after 3 years?? i broke mine in like 1 to 1.5 years. i was running a gm3 and geared down a tooth cause it was running a little 2 hot and i set the car down for the first heat and i get on the gas and i hear a loud snap. at first i didnt think it was from my car but then i was driving a 2 wheel drive car, it was all over the place!! since switched to an aluminum one and no problems

Brian McGreevy is that shaft one piece or 3 input/shaft /input?

Yeah its the original CVD's and shaft, ive only run lower than a 19 spec on very few occasions and mostly 27 stock which is probably why its lasted. Im planning some 10 or 12 turn mod this summer on large outdoor tracks compared to the normal carpet im used to so im expecting to go through some more parts then.

Default New chassis by AE?

Does anyone know when AE plans to release the updated chassis with the batteries closer to the center chassis line? It is sad that AE has not released any upgrades.

Associated does seem a bit slow when it comes to releasing product to the market. But when it DOES, man is it BAD ASS!! Be assured, if AE has something in the works, it will hit the shelves with little to NO mistakes. Few companies can brag about releasing a car with few glitches, much less updated parts for aging designs that STILL seem to whoop the supposed "best" in any class. Give it time, we wont be disappointed.

Default regardless?

if they are going to release one, it would be nice to get an upate from them. I'm sure many would wait for AE's chassis vs. buying someone elses. Are they not in the business of selling more of their own products?

i think the guys at AE've been busy lately (the MGT, B4 and T4) but hopefully they're working on a few new kick a$$ updates for TC3 though

Has anyone seen the guys from AE run a new chassis? I read somewhere that some of thm were using it at the Snowbird Nats. If anyone has a pic, I would love to see it.

It would be interesting to see what the Design team could come up with, to make the TC3 even better.
