Default batt mod

Well the tc3 lives a new life...last sunday i brought out the tc3 again... couldnt believe how tweaked it was. of course a 10 single and rubbers on asphalt will bring out tweak in anything so i did the battery mod...man oh man! this car has never been this dead on left and right. its perfect. tweak free...balanced....perfect. cant wait to bring it to the track. heres some pics. i did this with a drill press, small balsa wood saw for extending the slots and a dremel for the close work. i made a stopper for the batt with lexan to keep it from sliding in the slots....under the shaft is some foam tape but i only made the slots long enough to get it where i wanted it. also made the motor hole bigger to allow cooling...mods on a hot summer day can get pretty hot in that car....

You could quite possibly need some affection from the opposite sex J\K Too crazy is what that setup is. Curious if it totaly fried the diffs with that run?

Default front shock tower

what postions on the tower are more steering and is this the same as traction.I am a little confused becuase I was told stand the shocks up for more steering but lay them down for more grip

theres no way it cant work...the balance of the car was so off that it would push turning left and hook turning right no matter setup, oil, spring, ride height, droop, shock length, toe, anti squat, kickup, caster, camber etc. i tried it all...even checked bearings, diff, cvd's and anything that could bind up and drag on either side.
now the car is tweak free and perfectly balanced...should turn the same left and right now

yup....when im at the track i go through setups like you wouldnt believe...ill sit there and wrench on my car all day long if i could! ive been through tons and tons of setup and have them all in my mind...been racing my tc3 for over a year or more...dont think its been two years...so i know the car well. ive run it on carpet and asphalt...started out on a parking lot track until Fastlane started up and we got a nice permanent track here in kansas that has carpet, huge asphalt and a dirt track. i work there so i get quite a bit of track time and setup time in. feel free to ask me any questions, id like to help out. seems like theres a ton of people on the tc3 thread that have very usefull info and are helpfull to everyone. the battery mod has made me realize the greater potential of this car...glad i did it. ill be able to run it the weekend after next and tell you how it does. ill post my setup for asphalt after the race day or if it rains ill post my carpet setup.

baboon thats kool that u work at a track. i wanna though but i wanna work somewhere thats close so i could ride my bike. i also got something that prolly almost no one else has cept for a freind of mine because his dad made some custom aluminum arms that shortened the wheel base a lil more and they also help you out to be a little more agressive then what you could w/ regular arms on.

But the video was not of a speed run or just a starting line smoke-off. It was parked against an immoveable object, interesting way to put some tires out to pasture. Curious to see the gearing that Hacker will pull and the amps too. should make for a fun high speed run and hope you get a radar gun to validate the speed. Let us know how it goes.

well...
your car couldn't do that
anyways, i tried to do a moving burnout, and this happened:
http://www.coldfusionracing.com/DualBL/smoke2.wmv
It's hard to do it when you don't have front breaks...
show me a vid of a 1:1 car that does a burnout w/ out using their brakes...
right now it's geared 28/69
