I asked about the aluminum shaft because tower has the graphite one listed as discontinued and i heard rumors that associated was switching over to just the aluminum shaft (no graphite option).

thanks

Default pistons

Smallest hole is higher number!! Do this-when you build your shocks, take a sharpie and darken the number molded into the piston. Now buid the shocks so the number faces up towards the cap-That way when you go to change shock oil 5- 6-months after say gas racing season-you'll know whats in there without totally tearing down the shocks!!!

JDM-thanks!!!

Spaz-Yup-Dumas ran my milled chassis at the Birds he said!!! Cool!!! On his I hand filed and sanded smooth the edges on the bottom. Partially for less weight and more clearance when running less than 4mm ride height , but mostly because it looks cool and feels so smoooothhh!!! Production chassis dont get that treatment-takes many nights to do it right!!!

Ray, This week is finals week or else I would have been there!!

I have one of Ray's chassis' on my tc3 and it's sweet. I have all sorts of cnc mills and stuff, but there's really nothing else to do to it cause it's so clean, just buy Ray's chassis!

mistercrash - Your site is awesome! Excellent how-to pictures and instructions. I am going to try everything you did, because of your how-to's. Everyone with a TC3 should have a read/look through your site.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the compliments. I read a lot about the mods but didn't find how to do it so I documented the way I did it. There may be better ways of doing it but it worked for me with the tools I had. Glad it could help.
