Oh it works!! Those pictures are awesome! Brad does THE best job painting and decaling the F1 bodies. Love your Red Bull F1. Enjoy!!

I've found using the tamiya soft rear with a touring car type insert works well on my local asphalt track. Just seems to allow the tamiya soft's to be a little less firm on my bumpy track, so allow further grip. Haven't played with the fronts too much...happy with the foam insert.

I do prefer to sun the Shimizu's soft rear's...they are just amazing both grip and wear.

okay i have been having a bit of a read on the rcF1blog i am intereteted in what robk had to say regarding the front top arm i have made it level to give a go. what is a acceptable differance in front ride height compared to the rear i have a differance of 2mm higher in the front.
seems differant but in F1 i can see why this would settle the front end down

For our low-medium grip asfalt track works 2mm difference well but in the opposite way, rear end higher. In this direction there could be clearance problem of a front wing (when the rear is too high and front too low).

Anyone try this on high temp asphalt? Was it much better than softs with inserts?

One of the guys i was pitting with at the Memphis TCS tace ran hard fronts and soft rears with no inserts, at 99F air temps (track was scorching). He really liked that setup.

i have f ew new sets of tyres that are not glued up at the moment, i am going to put the rear TC insert in a set and then have a set with nothing in it. the tamiya tyre seems to have quiet a stiff side wall anyway.

the no insert i sthis also with the front rob with hard fronts ?
