wings don't matter? wow.
check out this video of the wind rushing through a F104 at speed.

Yes there's a lot of road roar but there's also the wind roar, and on such a small car these forces are not trivial. A little makes a lot of difference with these cars. No, the winds do not generate enough downforce to run the cars upside down, but we don't go that fast and we don't have tunnels underneath the cars.
btw, try to keep an eye on the car in front...especially when it pops off at the one minute mark!

I honestly did not see anything in that video to indicate the wings were doing anything...Do they make a difference? I think in some cases yes but you've got to be moving pretty fast for that to happen. Running silver can or black can motors...in my experience they do not. I've had rear wings come off and even half of a front wing once and the car still handled the same.

Now I've bolted on the ferrari wing as the kit one is too far wrecked (CA can only do so much, haha). The Ferrari wing must be better right, it's FERRARI yes? hahahaha

so there are 2 camps here, one says the wings works and the other dun.
I dunno if it truly does, but i like the car ran with F60 front and rear wings and the F104 Pro shell than with the Pro front and rear wings.
Maybe its doing something to my brain and says that it is faster and have better downforce!!

Smart looking new F104 front end from TRG - fully adjustable camber & caster.
I'm not sure but the height adjustment could be a bit limited..

I dunno know about that front end Those "castor" turnbuckles look a bit dodgey and so does the knuckle set up. Castor should be sweeped back or forward. Those look like they will be pulling them in a weird angle.
Tamiya should just release fixed castor arms and cambered knuckles. Problem solved.

This is an OLD idea. Cars had it in 1989 when I started racing, and I am sure even before that.
It works really well. With that being said, it can be a pain in the arse trying to adjust. Make one change for camber, and you have to adjust caster to offset the effect of the camber.

I don't know if it is more delicate or not, but it is not user friendly. The F104 fixed upper arm can bend and warp in a hard hit. Then you have to buy a new upper arm. At least with this, you know it is not likely to bend. If you happen to break a ball cup, just replace it.
This front end is awesome if you feel comfortable with all the adjustment and have a way to measure it. I would say most will stick with the standard.
