hey
Im going to be doing some f1 racing at my outdoor asphalt track. 540 silver can setup, what im wondering is which kit to get? The standard kit seems ok but it does not include alloy diff housing which i am after because people are saying every time you take the wheel off on the diff side of the car you lose your diff adjustment? im not to sure about that, Or is the f104W worth a go.
we race on a fairly low traction bumpy track, i drove a f104x1 today and it performed beautifully on our track, it seemed the guys with the 104 pro and the pro v2 found it harder to get the car to hook up
any help will be greatly apreciated
thanks

Switched my F104ProX1 to wide and its basically a GP now. I want to be able to adjust my front ride height like the GP so i was thinking about upgrading to the adjustable metal uprights that come with the F104w GP. Does anybody know the lowest and highest ride height you can get with the adjustable metal uprights running Schimizu front tires????
Thanks for any further information

A key factor when starting out is to have others at your track using the same kit with success. If they are willing to share their setup then you can build your car knowing that it will hook up. You also have someone who can assist you with troubleshooting. If the X1 is hooked up and those with the Pro and v2 are not it doesn't make those cars any less worth having (as they will hook up with the right set up) but if the guy with the X1 has done the hard work and is happy to share then it will make your entry into this fantastic class a smooth one

The F104 Pro X1 was a Limited Edition so when you see one snap it up!

I havnt used the low or high setting with the adjustable uprights, but ill measure tonight.
measured the shims and they are 1mm, so ride height range will be 4-6mm
