Hey Redbull,

I saw your F104 V2 and was wondering if I can mount my electronics the same way you did on my V1?

I'm not sure you can do that with the Pro ?
With a shorty lipo, you can run the Esc at the back, and Rec on the side

Like I did with the WGP

Just got done with my car.

Will post pics to see what you think of the setup. I didn't follow the manual for servo positioning and I have it set so the servo horn is facing upwards. I noticed my turnbuckles are angled upward towards the center of the car. Should I add washer under the ball stud to level out the turnbuckles?

Why battery forward rather than rearward? I'm awaiting the V2 for my first F1 and need to learn the beast characteristics.

I believe it depends on tires, track grip and personal feelings. Short lipo at the back works well for me running foams on med. grip carpet and unprepared (with sugar water ect.) large outdoor asphalt track...

The regular 104 one should work fine. The X1 stopper is actually a really old F103 part anodized a different color. I had a silver one from an F103 kit.

WANTED F104 pro?? (or a competitive F1) I would like to buy a used one.

I'm afraid NorCal Hobbies won't support the F1 class well, I guess it depends on how many we enter.
