Slightly OT but I have the F60 kit with hop ups. My local club runs F1 with the stock silver can motor on carpet. Can someone recommend a good budget ecu?

Tamiya makes pretty durable lightweight lexan bodies. I have used mostly lightweight bodies for racing and they held up just as good as regular weight lexan bodies.

See if you can find an old novak GTX. They are really small and probably pretty affordable. I overpayed for mine at $40 but it works well with the silvercan.

Sounds good. Any others that are more readily available?

Follow the link.... once you get comfortable with German (you can set the page in English... also), you will discover that LRP is selling the "leftover" of their brushed line for peanuts....

You can grab an 8.1 (improved version of the myth 7.1) for 16 euro plus shipping or the Quantum in Nosram red version....

Wow the LRP looks like great value! Will it run off 2s Lipos?

only problem i see with the venom esc, is that the nonadjustable 5 volt cutoff is too low if you run a lipo down on it.

I'd hope most racers pull their cars off as soon as the lipo feels flat... I know I would! lol
