I also heard he was at + 6oz.
I only found room for 5oz.
Exact placement on his car I'm usure of, might have had other weight scattered around too.
The rest of his setup will have to come from him, hope to see pics and specs too.

Oh yeh, he had the "old" car.
From what it looked like, he had some really big lead bars that he used to cantilever off of the radio trays, and add even more lead. Like Cuda said, it was like 103 weight distribution. Great idea.

I was able to get 4 oz. on my car in a similar fashion, and i had to add 30 points on my dual rate to get the steering back, but it was stuck

Hey guys! Heres some setup info and pics of my 104.

Front:
gold spring (king pin coated in AW)
ride height- 4.5mm
camber- 1deg
toe out-.5deg
10g of weight added under each arm

Rear:
tamiya 300wt shock oil w/ gold spring
damper plate coated in 200wt oil
diff set a hair above slipping
ride height- 5.5mm

I added 62g of lead to each side wing to get the car to roll over and make mechanical grip.

I also mounted the servo upside down to help reduce bumpsteer.

If you guys have any other questions feel free to ask! Im sure i forgot something lol.

There are some fantastic paint jobs and detailing in this thread.
Therefore no way I'll show you my first RC car - an F104w I built a few weeks ago. My second attempt is a little less embarrassing. Just a solid colour. I'm really enjoying the F104. Started driving this a couple of weeks ago with the stock motor and few days ago upgraded to a"mini steup" Hobbywing ESC 35A/ 13T motor.

Austin, thanks for sharing this information and well done on the TCS.

Can I ask what the overall weight of your car was.

This isn't for the individual gold springs, but they are included in the set.

Part number: 50509 - RC F1 Front Spring Set (Silver, Gold, and Black)

Here's the link:

For those that are running the 21.5/2 cell LiPo combination, what's the general ball park gearing everybody is running roll-out wise?

I think he might be looking for the damper gold spring, if so it came in the Miata Mini kit from what I understand.
Try searching that, sorry no part number.

What gearing were you running with a silver can? Man those cars were fast.

Thanks
