F60
MP4/24
or go for f104w MP4/6!
/is the F104 Pro that much better then stock?
Well you could pick up an F104 Pro kit (it comes with quite a few hop-ups), with an F60 body set, and an F104X1 (for unobtainable spares) and a set of F103 A-arms (in case you ever want to make a W car). Just a thought.

Thanks Charles!

Took the X1 out for its first run today. I only had one charged battery and a couple of tools. One of the locals, Kevin, was kind enough to film the three runs on a single pack. Would you guys be interested in seeing the videos and watch the taming of a beast? Lol it wasn't pretty, but it shows some of the issues that we experience when running new a chassis (teething pains/new car blues) and progression after each setup change. I have additional changes I need to make that should make it even better but at the end of the battery, it was a monkey car (so easy to drive, a monkey can do it...or someone with little to no talent, me)

In any event, I'll post the video later.

For now, here's a post-track picture...still in one piece and seems to have multiplied

Hi, Yes, the F109 is far superior to the F104 and F103. Regards

Tamiya have been producing F1 cars for more than 30yrs, they are easy to build with the best build notes in the industry, and parts are available worldwide.

This is 3 Raciings first F1 car...

That said, there are no bad F1 cars

Actually the matt black F60 is mine. I used Tamiya PS-55 Flat Clear (matte finish over coat for lexan)

Here's a link.
