Woo!! So brick style lipos do fit the X1!!
Urgh, gets very, very pricey for an F1 after factoring in wheels/tires, and body.

So, I've buckled, and just purchased an X1... Rod, I blame you entirely for you excellent picture build!
Anyway, I'm after some advise for gearing. From the off, I'll be going blinky brushless, most likely with a 17.5 until I can get hold of a 21.5. Can someone give advise on where I should be gearing these? I'm assuming the 93T spur is going to be the ticket, so just need a little advice on a starting pinion (I've got up to a 48 on the rack in the pit box) range.
Also, I've seen quite a few different steering setups (Rod's, MikeR's etc) from kit, can anyone give some advice on pro's and con's of each? I'm going to try them out for myself anyway, but would still like to get a bit of an understanding on them.
Looking forward to giving this a run, just now to decide on what paint scheme (and need D-Drive to come back off of holiday!). I'm thinking Rothmans Williams at the moment...

Just show up? It's hard to know what these F1 cars will need when it's sitting on the work bench. Right now, I'm putting my best guess on the car and rolling dice.
