haha still doesn't answer the question of how hawt

Personally, I was told by a lil RC birdy 180* was the max I want to see and I'm pretty conservative with it on the track so no fear!

Also, when dropping the 2-3 teeth made it really squirrelly to get back on the gas.

cheers mate.
What surface and tire will you be running on? Do you plan to run any official Tamiya races, or do you run an "open" class?

My motor is barely warmer then the ambient temp if at all. I also am running a 13.5 on asphalt.

For a rule I never run any of my motors above 160.

change the throttle profile - go with on of the 'softer' curves - like 2 or 1...that'll help with the on-power squirrelly-ness

Hi-LowBlow thats a sweet looking car. Which wheels and tires do you have on it in the pics? Are those just for show or are you running it on those? They look alot better than the Tamiya tires.

Those are pit shimizu tires. I actually race with them they make the car push but still work.

Hey Robk,

Its not going to be a carpark queen. The track i'll be on will be asphalt track i think, www.tftr.org.au <-- there is more details there.

Class wise it doesnt matter as that track doesnt have a f1 class , but i still want to be able to put it on the track and keep upto maybe the 21.5t touring guys

cheers.

P.s. Rubber tyres but i dont know which ones.

Last edited by pokiou; 06-21-2011 at 04:36 PM. Reason: forgot to add which tyres i was using.

+1

160 is where I would like it to be. But 175F is really pushing it. The ESC will thermal shut off at around 180-190, depending on what ESC you have.
