I'm intrigued about the new car (F104X1) but itching to get a car now. You know how that ges haha
I've ordered a new motor 21.5 BL May need to get a battery too as I've been told the "normal" rectangular Li-Po packs wont fit.
Any advice on which battery to get guys? ......

I may not get to LHR for a couple weeks we have a Asphalt Assault series race coming up at a different venue and I'm trying to put in some time there. It's no further for you to come there and we should have 1 or 2 heats of FIERCE F1 wars. Follow either the Asphalt Assault thread or the Strictly RC thread for more info. I also forgot to mention, if you don't want to wait for the 104X another option (perhaps the best) is the Exotek EX104. It's a conversion for the F104 or you could buy the Exotek and all the rear pod and front suspension stuff, I think it comes out all the same. The Exotek converts your pretty understeering shelf queen into fire breathing apex eating bad a$$
REALTALK. Also a lot of guys have been messing around with the hard case mini lipos. Same voltage same amperage half the weight. Cheers hope you get sorted Mega.

Yes and the F104 diff runs much smoother as well. The F103 diff uses the wheel as part of the thrust assembly so feels more bound up. I prefer the F104 diff on my F103. 3Racing makes an adjustment nut that allows diff tightening from the left side of the spur. I use one of these and think it is pretty trick though it makes diff rebuilds a little tricky.

Which is odd...most people find that the car has understeer once they can get sufficient rear grip from the super soft t-plate
