Everyone I know that runs the 103 and the 104 is easily faster with the 103.

They're just leaning towards the 104 cuz it's new and supported by the TCS.

I'm sure TCS would fill both classes if they were offered.

i think tamiya just thought that everybody would switch to the 104 because it looked more scale than the 103. tamiya is always chasing after scale looks. even their cheap tt-01 cars come with cool looking bodies. it seems people dont care about the scale looks of the 104. people just want the performance. i think tamiya hoped everybody would drop the 103, get a 104 and all battle for the fastest slow car. i think it would be cool if everyone ran the 104. it would look somthin like a 2010 f1 race.

You use CA glue to seal the edges...any color is probably painted. Some people use locktite but I didn't have any luck with that.

Yep...well sort of..
We are putting down the smack with 103s right now (compared to how most of us were doing with the 104).But give a pro driver a 104 and we still get beat. It happened this weekend.It also happened with another former tcs winner a few weeks back. I don't know what he would have done with a 103 but I am sure it would have been scary. Not that we are "slow guys" by any means..just goes to show in the right hands the 104 can be a winner.

Scarey is an understatement when it comes to a pro with a 103.

More like demoralizing.

Same driver both cars, done deal, 103. It just is.

Our top dogs are running the 104 right now too, sort of, Exotech chassis on some, other tricks here and there on others but the only others mixin it up with them are others stayin with the 103 which is what I should have done.
Probably will be back on the 103 next time out, the 104 is goin back to TCS specs and stayin there.

That would be the perfect ticket... it would allow the electronics to b mounted in front of the battery on the main tray like a single cell lipo, but with the power of a 2-cell... Me likey!
