Tamiya F104 Pro!

Titanium turnbuckles are light and quite strong. Aluminum turnbuckles are even lighter but pretty weak.

Has anyone tried a gyro in the 104 to tame down the handling?
I would think it would take out some of the twitchyness on the straights... and keep the rear end from coming around on the turns...
I know it's not probably "legal", but I was wondering if anyone has tried it...
I think in the July Issue of RC World (Japan) or RC Magazine (also japan) they do some gyro testing in different cars (including one F1) but I can't read Japanese..
I have a Futaba Gyro in my Baja 5B (which is the same as the D-Box from HPI but for $40 less) and it works great!! I was thinking about popping out of that and putting it in my F104 just to see how it would work

The results were less than spectacular.
But try it and get back to us on it

Does the F104 aluminum diff housing fit on the F103? I like the idea of the housing not falling out, when the rear wheel is removed.

A gyro will attach to your steering servo and automatically counter steer the car when the back end starts to get loose.

I don't think you could still use the F103 wheels with the 104 diff...but even if you could you lose the ability to adjust the diff without taking the whole wheel off which is a real pain.
