I wonder if the new left wheel hub will work on the F-103,I belive the two axles are the same except for the length? I have destroyed a couple of shafts by over-tightening them

I am using the 1.3 bar on my 103/104 and love it.
It's REALLY soft so make sure you like that sort of setup
or buy a stiffer plate.

Hey Guys, I'm a total noob and I just finished building my f104 pro. I have a question that I am hoping someone might be able to answer.
I seem to have a very bad vibration on the left rear when under power. If I hold the car up ad give it full throttle I can feel it. If I hold the left wheel and let the right spin, it is smooth. If I hold the right and let the left spin it vibrates badly.
First I thought It might be a tire imbalance (bad glue job) but I tested it with foams ad the problem was still there. Not as bad as with the rubber tire, but still there none the less.
Any ideas as to what might be the cause?
Thanks

check to see if there is any visible wobble to the axle or the hex. Also check to make sure you have the hex seated correctly on the axle

Since my last crash i've got some camber problems. On the left side it is ok at 2.5 (impact side, but all parts changed) and on the right hand side there are 4 degree. What am I doing wrong?

Remove the pinion and spin the rear axle assembly, it should spin freely.
The entire left hub should spin true.
If it's a bad glue job, then the problem will switch sides if you swap wheels left to right.

Was thinking diff. side.
Hey,it's left if your looking at the front of the car....DOH
Figured he figured that out by now.
Yes the non diff.side is the same as the 103.

Ive put together my first kit F1 Pro which includes the ball diff that I have zero experience with. My question is, How do you know how much grease to put on the ball bearings for the diff?
I found out after a small electronic / motor test that I put way too much. The grease went flying all over the workbench and car. Instant conclusion: too much grease. Should I take the diff apart and clean it up and start over?
I know your having a laugh over this cuz its a NOOB mistake
Any response is appreciated

I built the diff in my 104 using Dave Irrgang's (via Garry Owen) diff method. Works really well. The key is to dull the diff rings with 600 grit sandpaper, clean them well and use very little lube.
