Tamiya would most probably discontinue the Pro kit and come out with "normal" kits. ie, kits with glass fibre chassis, plastic diff outdrives and no blue blink stuff etc.....
Maybe a F104RM or something.

Yes, I had try to put on the F104 diff housing and F104 carbon shaft on F103, and it fit.
I also try to put the F103 rear wheels and F103 diff housing on F104 (no need to use F103 shaft), it fits too
For front wheels
F103 front wheels on F104 -> NO, unless you use the F103 front suspension
F104 front wheels on F103 -> YES

Sorry, i was busy to prepare for the TCS race last weekend, so didn't update here.
I did run the F104 on 1 of the qualify and here is the result (while it is an outdoor track, traction are different from time to time, so i will post the 2nd place driver who run F103R on all Qualify and main as a reference)

hey thanks for posting the links... mine is on back order with towerhobbies... but I did see rubber tire/wheel packages on the rc-race-and-drift-japan.com site... anyone ordered/used these for the f104 pro yet?

I didn't see a blue aluminum gear box in the photos in the build thread. Does the kit come with the aluminum gear box or is that seperate?
