Tamiya would most probably discontinue the Pro kit and come out with "normal" kits. ie, kits with glass fibre chassis, plastic diff outdrives and no blue blink stuff etc.....

Maybe a F104RM or something.

Pardon my ignorance, why can't the diff housing fit the regular 103 metal shaft? Is the 103 shaft too short?

opposite, the F103 shaft is too long to fit the F104 diff housing

hey thanks for posting the links... mine is on back order with towerhobbies... but I did see rubber tire/wheel packages on the rc-race-and-drift-japan.com site... anyone ordered/used these for the f104 pro yet?

I didn't see a blue aluminum gear box in the photos in the build thread. Does the kit come with the aluminum gear box or is that seperate?

The idiotic thing about this is that it have "almost" all the alu bits... But the alu gear case comes separtate..!!

Only DARKSIDE is from the Xray, last time I have checked, Xray is not good enough to make any F1...LOL
