Thanks!

Also, I wanted to use my 5mm ball cups, but it seems I need a special ball stud.

http://www.vellrip.com/store/product....asp?p=2050&c=

Are there any alternatives to it? Or I don't have much choice?...

The uprights have very small holes for the ball studs to pass through, and there isn't a whole lot of meat to drill larger holes (although you might be able to get away with it), thus the really small diameter threads on those ball studs.

Looks nice with the ride tyres, good job on the body too.

How did you get your side pods to sit so well on the main body? Where the intake ducts sit, I cant get my side pods to sit flush. Do you trim up to the body trim lines or on them (so you cant see the trim lines)?

thanks

and i thought the old f102 (b192) was elaborate with its high nose and barge boards. these new bodies are on another level of complexity.

Does anyone know if anyone sells anodized red wheel 'lug nuts'? I've seen the blue a million times, I just got an F-60, so I'd kinda like it to match the Ferrari Red...

Im in the market for one of these fine cars.
Im looking to do just some ashphalt driving as there are no tracks in this area.
I want to use lipos and BL system. This is where you more experienced F1 users come into play, for the info I gave you what do you suggest? I do like speed.

Battery size?
Motor/ESC?
F104 or
F104 Pro or
F104 F60

I will be using Spektrum Tx/Rx.

Thanks to all that respond.

hi thanks,

yes i did cut the them right on the lines and glued it with shoe goo did't like the screws thru the bodies.
ok makes the body a little more heavier but what the heck its looking better this way.
my new body set i did made was for my TRG 109 is (f103 based) with a retro body set from jonny herbert due the fact the newer smaller tider set won't fit the f104 hope you enjoy them
