For everyone else who follows 1:1 F1, this picture reminds me of how the paddock is going to look for the 2010 season when tire warmers aren't allowed.
Just bake the whole car! Either that or fat500 is going to fail tech inspection when his Lipo comes in above room temperature.
Awesome job on the paint, bro!

How are you finding the cars like to drive with 1s power over 2s power?
There is talk that a 1s can be as fast but has a softer power band so more traction.
Can you confirm this?

has anyone had the need to mod the motor mount to fit larger spur/pinion combo's.
I run 48p as I've found the stock spur's pick up bit's of debris at our track, while the 48p is a little more forgiving.
I've currently got a 72 spur and 29 pinion, and with that fitted I don't see me being able to go any higher with either the spur or pinion which is a nuisance.
I'm just wondering if anyone has modded the mount and of so, how did you approach it.
Any information would be appreciated.

thanks for the replies....I will have a go at making a small change to the motor mount but I think I will be limited by the space anyway.
I today had a run using the Kawada 72T spur and could get a 29T pinion in, and maybe a 30 will be a little bit more of a squeeze. I have got a 71 and 69 spur, so will give those a try......I've finally figured out how to rebuilt my diff each time and get a nice feel to it, so I'm not afraid to change the spur gear if need be.
