Tamiya F104 Pro!

RBF...just got some goodies to try out this weekend
Do you remember how Fred mounted his cut inserts. Was the trapezoidal shape pointed towards the rim or away? And did he size to fit off the rim and more towards the tire or was it sized to fit against the rim?
Oh yeah..the F60 body parts set is no joke. It even comes with wheels spats. May have it done on the third of never

I believe FMW assembled them in the normal fashion
Just be careful to leave enough room between the insert and rim
for air to escape through the wheel vent holes.
Grats on the F60 parts.
Question is, are you going with the F60 scheme, or something further up the grid

i have both, but havent ran the f60 yet. rite away i noticed a difference with the parts. 1 the pro has a carbon shaft, a way better servo saver, stronger tie rod links and you can change wheels without readjusting the diff everytime, the center shock is actualy a shock, the f60 shock is just a spring no fluid. by the time you replace all these things it will have add up to prob more than the pro. the f60 body set is $26. i race my pro and just play with the f60. I think if you want to race get the pro and the f60 body, but if you want to play get the f60 kit. thats just my opinion.

Wheel, just confirmed in Shimizu, but i saw in RCmart, it said RP tire could be also fit with F104 foam wheels. That's why i ask you about this.
Well, I guess that could be the TRG wheel.
I like more the Tamiya original wheel, in fact is not any bad look and cheaper than TRG.
Anyway, thanks for your replies!

As for the F60 scheme, I'm not sure. Ideally, I would like to do a shelf queen (forgot the paint

Great deals! You didn't have to pay any sales tax, since you are out of state too.

For the F104 Pro @ Tower's $229 price, $40 off makes it a very good deal.
See attached coupon list.

I added some carbonfiber wingletts to the front of the f60.
They are adjustable , up for less front downforce or down for more downforce or level for neutral.
see pics below. I am adding some to the rear wings too, just over the tires.
I will post pics when done
