I heared about that a month ago from a very reliable source too but for me it is hard to top off the TC3, a car that is a bench mark of what is considered a new design today for other manufacturers. I can think of some mods that the tc3 can benefit slightly from like what they are doing now ie. moving the batteries closer to the center.
Anyway, I think if they try to stay close from it's current design whould be a good thing.
If it is a radical design from a different planet it would be a risky move.
Whatever it is. Just AE's reputation of producing great prducts will surely make me get one or two or three....

Dont know if you guys remember when the TC3 was first released, but there were a lot of delays. If you guys say 1 year, I expect 2...

I love assocated but Randman is right. It took forever for the Monster GT to finally be released. The B4/T4 took awhile also.

Their stuff is awesome, not trying to discourage anyone from my post, just saying it'll most likely be a while...

Add NitroTc3 to that list.

Those guys make fast cars but their development cycle is SLOW. I bet it won't come out till the summer of 2005. Going by AE's recent trend if a new TC is to come out anytime next year we would have already seen a prototype at Chicago.

I first heard about the new release the first quarter of this year. Some of what they are testing is on par with the Associated way of thinking and engineering. I believe it will release 2nd or 3rd quarter next year.

I'll take that bet!!!

But seriously, I can understand that it takes time to develop a decent car. So I guess we'll have to be patient and wait for AE to do what they do best.

Talking

Good things come out of hard core engineering. Don't put a car on the market that will need several hop-ups or modifications to compete. AE goes out of the way to prevent this. Other companies throw there product out the door to make a quick buck, but not AE! You can count on them for a good tourer!
