Hey no jumping on my parade!
j/k. Barry, snap some pics! Ide probally need a bib with all the drool Ide be leaking. I just love the old Associated kits. Nothing like a 6 gear RC10 humming down the straight.

Heres another two of mine. But I need to get the digi out for some more.
If I ever build my 6 gear RC10 the thorpe gear set in the pic will go in it. I never got to run a set of them.

Most other companies develop the car while they sell different versions of it instead of finishing the product before release (money) Yokomo,Tamiya come to mind. I have a XXX-S but have had 3 TC3s, probably will get another soon. Most of the present cars are good and would not need to be updated to run well for 4 years but there is not as much money to be made that way. I am only impressed that AE is sticking to a good product.

Hey BB whats up?

Hey old skool is cool. My TC3 works great, I see no hurry to change a car that is still winning and doing very well. Doesn't AE need to release a new GT first anyway? Or have they done that already, I'm not up to speed on all the off-road stuff anymore.

SO since all of the other car manufactures cant come up with a better car why would you think Associated can.
IMO the chassis needs an upgrade geometry wise battery placement and such. and the steering rack needs work. It would also be nice if it were made of carbon fiber sheet. or at least a factory upgrade so I can keep my car all associated.

The only car out that I think will be a big threat is the Pro4.But if you look at it and the TC3,they are very close.

XXX-S,Pro4,YokeSD,Xray,Mission,Bara.R2,Tamiya EvoIII lots of cars can be "threats"its in the hands baby.

You cant argue that the TC3 dominates most of the sedan races. Granted some other cars to win, but nothing to same success its had. And before you say its all driver, its all car too at the pro level. And don't think AE has the biggest team, they don't. If there is a TC4 in the works great, if not so.The TC3 is still a winning car for 4 years old.

The TC3 is a good car.
But I think the combo of good Reedy motors, great teamwork and experienced drivers (I mean the WHOLE enchilada/combo) gets the wins.

Good point Pizza....It takes not only Car,Driver, and Motor to win it also takes a good team and great engineering staff behind the car...
