Considering how competetive the TC3 is, how radical would AE want to go with the TC4 redesign?

I can't remember how long the TC3 has been out, but it seems like at least 4-5 years since it's initial release. That isn't a bad run for a car, and it is still as good or better than anything else out there.

To also consider the current economy, it would be foolish for AE to invest a lot of money in a redesign of this kit.

I would not be surprised if the TC4 is only a minor redesign to incorporate some of the modifications most of us have already made to the car. This could include moving the batteries in closer to the centerline and maybe some version of the NTC3 steering. If this is the case, it would be reasonable that a new kit could be on the way some time next year.

Who knows..... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.....

These threads rule....hahhaha

Calvin, I don't think Reedy EVER said they were coming out with a cobalt motor....that was ANOTHER source that says he's working in close conjunction with Reedy....but we see how that info went, eh?

TC4, huh? Interesting. I haven't seen that yet....have to look around our office some more....

TC3 is still a good car. All it needs is a SKODA body!

Hey Phil...just wondering what all these people are talking about...why do we need a new car..I think(well I know) that the TC3 won every major race this year around the world except for the Japan Nats......now people tell me how you can improve on that?

By fixing the battery location. when the car came out the design didnt take into account that the new 3300 wee heavier than the 3000s. all in all thats a minor change everything else being equal.

I actually heard the TC5 is in development. And the TC6, too. Can never think too far ahead!
