Default sorex 28,32,36r's

Just bought some of these,i've read here the popularity of the 36r's but would the 28 and 32r's be better while its still cool out.Where i race evening thru the night its still kinda cool out,but the pavement we race on is a small smooth parking lot track thats blown then sprayed with soda so traction is pretty good.

yes those work best for colder wheather. i use the 36R during hot wheather and sometimes have to switch to 32R as the day gets colder during the evening.

How much does the track temperature change? I would think that would be more important than an air temp change but then again, I primarily only run on carpet.

I'm really not sure on that, never tested but i just bought a temp gun so i can check and use tires that would be best suited i gues.Up until this next race coming i've been on hpi radial belted x-pattern pro compounds with good results,so i'm kind of cautious to change my set-up but really want to try these new sorex's out and is what eveybody seems to run out there but i'm not sure what compounds they're using.

The outdoor track I race at in Ohio (track temp usually 100-120 or so) the 32s seem to be the tire of choice.

28R's should be OK, just don't over do it if your using tyre warmers before the race or they will turn to jelly.

I used some pre-built 32R's yesterday when track surface was 25degC and they just lacked a bit of bite at corner entry so I went back to RP24's

Thanks for all your input guys.Since i'll have 28-36r's on hand i should be prepared and they are the pre-built ones also from speedtech and from what i was told they are the med low- profile inserts inside and were the handout tire for 2008 reedy race so they should rip.
