Thanks Solara! It's a good thing I checked in here first with you SP experts before going to the park this week with my daughter and if I didn't...I could've just smoked away the $$ I spent to buy the stuff. Since I earlier purchased in late August a SA V2.0 ESC and 3S Lipo batt pack before consulting with you guys...I guess I will need to find a rig for that one since that combo won't fit the SC104x4...hmmm...a Losi 10-SCTE 4WD might be next on my list.
Solara, would a SA V2.0 5.5R work with the Losi or should I get the Cirtix Slotless Sensored Motor for 1/8 - 2200/2500KV?

Depends on how many cells you are running...you must run at least 3S on the SILVER ARROW and LOSI is a way too heavy SCT for the 5.5....Ciritx Slotless will work but you must run 3S or more...4S is the best. 2200 will work...2500 might get too hot for 4S. But should work great with 3S.

Will the Gt 2.0 LPF series be able to power a tekin sc4x 4.5t (4000kv)in a losi ten scte? its a 550 size motor.I was going to go with the silver arrow till i read it doesnt like running on 2s as all the tracks here make us run 2s for sc.

When will there be more MMM 17.5 motors available? Have called a couple of hobby shops in the Chicagoland area, and nobody has them. Even the SP website shows them out-of-stock, any ideas? Thanks.

I'm looking for a dirt cheap speedo for blinky TC and oval racing. I see the Cirtix Inspire 2.0 is dirt cheap. How does it do in 2s 17.5 tc and/or 1s 17.5-13.5 oval racing? Also, I don't see it on the ROAR approved list. Is it legal or just waiting for approval or what?

It can be used with 1S only if you are using the TQ Cell booster (this is the ONLY 1 that will work).
This ESC cannot be software upgradable or running the boost software. If you need to run boost, you will need something like the GT2 LPF or GT2.1 ProStock.

If you are running boost...good luck, I hate that class cause it will have 100 setup just for the software and the motor.
If you are running no timing...great. Max it to 20* (full right) and gear at 4.5 and check temp....I am sure you can keep gearing up til 4.0 or even higher, depends on the size of the track.
