You don't have to when you change a setting, well obviously you can't if you chopped the switch off. You can take apart the casing of both the swtich and esc and solder a new wire on.

Give SP USA office a call....Phone 1-888-928-1328

Let them know what you did and we will have some kinda plan for you to get that ESC updated/fixed with a fee. I assumed you are in USA area.

Call our office....Phone 1-888-928-1328, you can purchase a new switch and we can ship to Cananda for you....you can then solder that back to your ESC and do all the things that it suppose to do instead of what you did to the switch.

Since you are NOT changing software...you DO NOT need to calibrate each time after you changed the SETTING......you DO, need to calibrate, ONLY if you changed your software...which I doubt you can or you want to do it now, because you will not be able to without the switch.

4.0 with full timing on right 10°.........I think you can gear higher then that but check the motor temp and gear accordingly.

No...different motor internal..I think you should use the same gearing as your MMM when running V3 with full right 10° timing and give that a try. Again, 5 laps is all you need...then check motor temp and feel.

I hope you are running no timing....

I have the MMM 17.5R with green +20 sensor board at +10 max (total of +30 degrees). I ran anywhere between 4.2 to 4.4 depending on how technical the track is. My temperature is around 150-160 at the case.

Comparing to my older V3 17.5R, the MMM runs at about 10-20% higher rpm for the same physical timing setting.

Just getting back into the indoor season soon. I have a GT2.1 Prostock that I ran in 13.5 boosted class. I haven’t touched for like 6 months. Could someone tell me if there is new software to download, best settings for 13.5 boosted, FDR and what motor you guys are using now?

Thanks,

Ivan
