Now if I geared my car correctly with the NO timing software could I then use the 528 with the same gearing and then start adjusting/setting timing and boost etc or will the gearing be completley off ?

Thanks.
If yours is a V3 motor, leave the timing in the middle of the slot to start with, gear it, and race it.

DO NOT use a gear ratio from a no-timing software on the supercharger software. It will cook the motor very quickly. There is some discussion on recent pages about which documentation to use for gearing advice with the supercharger.

But there's no confusion between the two instructions. So why reference one over the other? The issue being discussed has nothing to do with the lack of information in either document.

It's pretty much Irgo vs the rest of us, that's creating all this drivel...hehe

Cherry, Irgo, Jimmy and all the others trying to help us understand all these neat features...we appreciated it. Can get a little messy at times with all the counter arguments, but I personally appreciate the lessons being taught.

Irgo, take a break from this thread. Go run your RC's til all your batteries, fuel and tires wear out....lol

What do you meant sosidge ?
no-timing software on the supercharger software ?

far i know "V1_508_NO timing"
is not a DMTS & supercharger software/firmware.
but it's perform like fixed 0° soft Timing (soft timing disabled)
with DRRS Performance only based on V2.0_100528.

anyway V1_508_NO timing will not benefit the V3 Motor which is only had
10° maximum fixed endbell timing.

hes talking about gear ratios

do not gear your car the same for no timing as you do for timing.
