do you have a good starting set up point for 17.5 on road?
thanks in advance,

Here is the EXCEL file I use to calculate the Start & End RPM points for the 528 software release.

in September you will not have to guess RPM under load,
because SP engineer will release the new PC Interface RPM Log history,
and if this combined with the Custom RPM Start,
would be very precisions.
resulting max torque. and faster acceleration.

Also what sort of fdr is a good starting point for the 10.5 ?
Should I be gearing the SP motor/speedo's higher eg. 6.0-7.0 ?
Thanks.

Tried these settings today with the SP 13.5 at 5.81fdr and it work really well so thought I'd try a SP 10.5 at 5.65fdr and it went really well just wondered what I need to adjust on the speedo to get a little more punch with the 13.5 ? I'm running the standard 5deg timing on both motors.

for the 10.5 i would start around a 6.2- 6.5.

You can always play with the gearing.
you could go down on the delay
Think I went the wrong way at 5.81 to 5.65 with 10.5 I'll try dropping pinion and do some laps and get temp reading.

1) at "DMTS Start RPM" it's not 528 but it's 422.
528 is :
4000,5000,6000,7000,8000,9000,10000,110000,12000
2) "DMTS START RPM" supposed to change as DMTS Timing Change.
and DMTS START RPM is defined before SC Timing is Activated,
and timing and end rpm change again.
3) "DMTS Timing" has no relation to Supercharge Timing Punch. (miss calculate)
4) "SC Timing" has no relation to SC Timing Punch. (miss calculate)
5) "SC Timing Punch" has no relation to SC Timing Punch either DMTS Timing. (miss calculate)
i'm sorry but your calculator is all wrong.

Irgo can you write from where are arriving these info? inside the last SP firmwares we have this document (se the attached file) but i'm sure you know this but what you are saying to us is complete different, so just for to understand better is possible have more info?
The calculator is right for what I/we know
Thank you

I got my setup dialed in a bit last night. Adding a half tick of timing to my Duo2 17.5 and dropping a tooth really helped. I'm geared at a 6.30 and I might try dropping one more tooth. Temps were about 170 after 7 minutes which might be a little bit too hot considering it was cool night and our races start in the afternoon.
