12ga is what 2.1 came with....but 14ga would work too.

Speed passion does make 12ga wire, good stuff

just got back from baldy666`s house. he put the beta onto my gt2.0 with sp13.5 motor. it revs off the scale! thanks dude i owe you big time. many many thanks to all who have put up info to help us get our speedos up and running.

many thanks to baldy666 junior for the speedo in the first place.

also to models in motion.

all of the threads ive seen have been for 10.5. i downloaded the settings from the beta and the car was big wow! adjusted to cherrys settings and it was a bit pants, (his are for 10.5 i know) so i went back to the standard download. back to wow!

anybody running 13.5 who has played with the settings? only due to good friday no racing at our club next week (should be renamed bad friday) so ive got nowhere i can get to to try it out. and a basic tried set up would be cool.

as usual any help, comments or abuse most welcome...........

I am not to sure because the LCD card says V1.02 when switched on, but in the software on my laptop it came up with a totally different version number when it worked.

Hi.

I´m considering trying out a SP speedo, i´m running 17.5 touring stock, I can see there are a GT2.1 stock spec, but I have a super offer on a Gt2.0 pro.

Can I update the GT2.0 to an stock soft-ware??

Thanks

yep. i did it today! the two speedos are basicly the same but the 2.1 has a larger fan and more of the case is ali allowing better heat disipation.
the gt2.0 was made for modified and the 2.1 stock. once you load up the 231 software onto the gt2.0 they basicly become the same.

baldman666, i bench tested the speedo earlier and seemed to have not much until 3/4 throttle to full. it dont seem linear. yes once the turbo comes in its feccckkkkinnneeooowww! is your 10.5 linear then mental turbo? or not a lot then mad.when at yours earlier i just gunned it . try gently squeezing the throttle all the way upto full. its almost like a two stage turbo?
maybe it needs more midrange/ anybody got any ideas?????????????

That sounds great.

But why do they only basicly become the same?
Is it only the case that is the difference, or are there some hardware
or software differences?

Thanks
