I'm not sure what to tell you just this second. Provided you did everything as we said...

1. uninstall all current versions of the SP s/w from your computer, also deleting the all .zip files from the previous download (except the files you downloaded today)
2. goto the SP website and redownload the V1.32 s/w.

3. unzip and install the program like you have never had it on your computer before.

4. take the 2 new s/w files from today and unzip the package, highlight the 2 files, right click and copy them.

5. going into your "my computer"..."C:"..."Program files...."Speed Passion V1.32" folder, you will right click and PASTE the new files into that folder

when prompted if you would like to overwrite the existing files, you click "yes to all"

after that, it a business as usual s/w update on your esc, using the 4th tab and the drop down box, the new s/w should be listed there at that time.

Thats the problem that I asked about in the begining, I can't get the software to go into the speedpasion folder ( its in there but it just won't work) and work.

Any more suggestions on what to try.

I was trying to explain what I have done to correct the problem.

ie: uninstalled all speedpasion software ( more than once )

uninstalled the supercharger software (see above )

re-installed both several times fresh downloads for both

Still see no extra programs.

How can you not get the files from the .zip file to the folder on your hard drive?

Did you unzip the software download? Once you did what did you see?

the 2 files that are in the new software pack cannot be "installed" they are just 2 files?

I extracted the 2 new files from the zip file sent them to the desktop and copy and pasted them to the speedpassion folder.

They are in the speedpasion folder as it asked me if I want to replace the original files from version 1.32 I selected yes to replace those 2 files.

Just can't see any more programs when I load back to the ESC.


With the uninstall I just cleaned all the programs out of the computer including the new supercharger software and ver 1.32 to make sure I had a clean start before downloading them again.

I must be STUPID.

Please don't answer that last statement

So you've done everything correct...

then you plug your ESC back into the computer and using the SP software all you have is 110?

I have a feeling your not "replacing" the existing files in the SP folder with the new ones??????

I had a little trouble until I went ahead and opened the files and looked at the instruction file to make sure they would open then copied and pasted both the other ones and then it worked fine.

i have the lcd program card but its actually never been plugged into my lap top.

I downloads the supercharger zip file. but I dont have the program to update my esc.

Had a run with the new software this arvo. Will be racing at a club meeting tomorrow.

Please note I only had a couple of battery packs, and did not get a lot of running done.

Still using the Novak 13.5 with 4.5 gear ratio. Started out with settings near the middle of supercharger software. The car seemed quite fast with very good acceleration. The motor ran very cool, around 40 degrees. It was probably similar if not slighly faster than 731, but did have more torque indeed. Did try winding the overall boost up, but couldn't tell much difference.

Considering how much acceleration it had, I will try to gear up a tooth or more on the pinion.

so just for kicks, I have 3 shouies, one has a 5.5 in it, one has a silver can, one i was waiting for outdoor season to decide, I installed my "old" v2 SP13.5 that I ran at the 2008 nats that had plenty of runs before and since on it, upgraded the esc to the new software, geared it as recommended by shawn, 118/30 think it was around a 7.09 or something, i haven't changed any settings from the download, and OMG, the motor has NEVER screamed like that before, so just for kicks, i fire up the ole 5.5 and pull the trigger, it screams, but no where near the rpm of the 13.5, and it doesn't jump like the 13.5, i use a airtronics 2.4 radio, so i said, what the heck, i turned both cars on, and ran them side by side, if i was a betting man, my money would be on the 13.5, the chassis just jumps.

now i know the little bench test proves nothing, but comparing it how my "other" esc sounded...... yea, i was way more impressed. can't wait till the sun comes out.
