Your going to need wither the LCD Programming box (SPLCD01) or the motor checker (SPBA01).

The receiver cable will plug into either of those boxes then plug into your computer.

What does the LCD Programming box do for me. Does it let me make finer adjustment then the hand held it came with. Are there any update I can get for it off the web.

The LCD box works the same as the stock box that comes with the ESC but you get the USB port to update the ESC software, as well as finer adjustments on things like drag brake where you can have a custom level of drag brake, not just the box settings

I just installed new ESC (SP GT2 Pro carbon edition) on T2009 xray. I intended to use LRP brushless motor (3.5 turn with 13mm sintered). and running Lipo 7.4v 5000nimh 30c.

My questions.
1. what is the best FDR (ratio) should I run?
2. What is the max temp of my motor and esc should I run for safety?
3. Can i measure torque using SP brushless analysis tool
So you still looking for 2nd opinion huh ??

10.50 FDR is already safe range.

Max temp for Motor is 80C ( after 5 min run )

Max temp for ESC is 80C ( after 5 min run )

Max means max, don't cross over it.

I just picked up a LPF 2.0 carbon edition, and have one question. In the set up instructions it shows a LED that is somewhere on the solder posts side that you can look at while programming your radio set-up. For the life of me I dont see the LED, even a place for it. I even pealed the "A,B,C" decal back a little to see if it was covered up. However I do hear the set-up tones and got it done. Just wonder what I'm missing, or not seeing.

Just use the tones, the led's are burried lol

It was a small design flaw, they're in there but you can see them

Guess someone forgot to make a small "window" to see the LED!
