You will need the LCD programming box and a mini USB to USB cable connected from the PC to the programmer. Then you connect the speedo to the programming box with the receiver cable.
I strongly suggest reading the manual. They are all available online.
The speedo comes with the receiver cable and the programmer comes with the USB cable when purchased.

Im getting ready to buy one of the new reventon esc's and was looking at the MMM SP motors. Are they very competive looking at 17.5
Trinity seem to be the go to option for 17.5 - very quick. Reedy are a good choice too.

Reventon Pro Issues
Anyone have problems with new Reveton Pro?
In this weekend I run the first time with my new reventon pro, with an 10.5T thunder power in blinky mode, after 2 minutes run without explanation began smoke, the motor has 37 degrees and speedo 45 degrees, when I plug batery he smoke. It's everithing correctly switched. I don't understand what happens.
Now I hope that the shop or Speed Passion, resolve my situation.

You didn't mention it was a "Revention Pro".
I recall someone else mention that it didn't have the USB cable in the box.
Most are the same so if you already have one from another device, it should work as mentioned by the previous poster.

If your track is not that strict (ROAR rules) I would suggest the green rotor http://www.speedpassion.net/us/produ...=RS13805&c=MTR.
But these are just upgrades the way the motor comes is pretty darn good.

The other brands typically don't have as broad a timing range as the SP motors hence you are limited by what comes installed by design. Each module provides 10 degrees of adjustment and depending on which model you choose, it can be 0-10, 11-20, 21-30 and so on. With the 31-40 degree module, you are getting up in the range most motors can't accommodate. So in conclusion, if you know what timing range you intend to run, you may or may not need an additional module.

I want to swap out bearings in my MMM motor. What is the best way to go about this? I assume I will need a bearing tool? Any suggestions or do they all work the same?

If you pull the end plates off, you can heat them up with a heat gun and they will fall out if simply pressing them out by hand doesn't work.
