I plan on purchasing a MMM 17.5. I would like to order ceramic bearings for it, but need to know the correct dimensions. Can anyone tell me what size bearings to order? Thanks.

Make that "have just purchased." I'd still like to know the bearing dimensions. I gather they are ID 1/8", OD 3/8" but what about the 3rd dimension?

V3 1 cell 13.5

Anyone using this motor in their 12th scale? If so, I was wondering if you gear'm the same as a standard 13.5 or gear'm lower (bigger spur or smaller pinion)?

Depends on if your running boosted or blinky. For boosted id gear it the same as any other motor but in blinky id recommend getting the opptional 20 or 30 deg timming sensors. Then gear like normal but if running stock timming sensor you have to gear up a lot cause theirs only ten or so deg. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I'm getting a ceramic kit for another car and wanted to get the motor bearings at the same time to save on postage. Thanks anyway. Did you notice much difference?

not a huge difference driving although it felt smooth rotating by hand. i got them because they handle temps better and the fact that they are ceramic less drag
just nice to have really

How do I change the motor direction with my gt 2.0 I have the lcd box, and I use the program on the computer. My 550 sensored motor only goes the one way but there is no option to reverse it??

Have you tried reversing that channel on your radio?

JUst learned of Speed Passion, and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a brushless combo set that would work well in an SCT, being ran in a mild mod class on a small indoor carpet track.

Thank you,

Tom

Really? When I ran Tekin speedo, we used a lot different timing setups with SP V3 vs LRP X12.

But I will do a lot of testing the next couple of weeks, and get back to all of you, if I find a good setup!

Yeah, let us know....remember, X12 built in timing is way higher then SP and TRINITY, thats why I lowered it...........esp running BOOST.

What kinda SCT..? 2WD or 4x4..? Also, what class...stock or mod...? Boost or no timing....

I would recommend any GT series ESC and V3 or V3MMM.

Sorry for mentioning the details,

2wd Slash, stock to start, then mos, on an indoor small carpet track.
