That is a very neat installation! Do you have any glitching troubles (be honest) with stuff mounted to the cap?

I nopticed I had to move my cap to several different locations to prevent a very subtle glitch I was getting.

I have not experience any glitching at all.. as long as the diode is at least 1 to 2" from the motor. I'm using the 3PK w/HRS reciever on 27mhz.

If I was you I wouldnt remove it...... Novak engineers have put it there for a reason. When you say "remove" do you mean take it out from the stock posistion and mount it somewhere else? Or take it out totally? Cauz yeas in my 12thscale car I did remove the heatshrink and mounted the diode unit against the case with two black zip-ties. Basically did that just to make the wiring look neater. lol But whatever you do, dont remove it because it does void factory warranty

true...but after 90days...you can do what ever you want to it.
also if you have the earlier versions without the diode...like I did ...doing my mod was simple..less wires hanging.

novak will still get you coverred if something goes wrong, they have excellent service

Does it matter if i place the diode a but further away from the motor? it is kinda tough to keep that diode close to the motor on my SD. for closer or further i mean the length of the wire from the doide to the motor tabs
