Looks like I'm going to buy the m05 chassis and build it up the way I want it...I'm going to put all the other parts from my m03r onto the m05 chassis case..maybe all ill need is the stearing arms

I did that by building an M03 into an M05, you'll need M05 upper links too, and bearing holders for the diff if they don't come on the chassis parts tree.

So upper links? Like the upper suspension links?

So far ill need
Chassis
Steering system
Bearing holders
Upper links

Anything else?

Tower sells these items cheap I could probably get everything for $45 to convert it over.

I wish I could remember this one site I ran accros..it was a weird japanese site and they sold cool mini bodies. The 2 that I remember was the Cube and the Scion XB they were both baby blue and it was love at first site, true sheft queens.

Ill back track and help with the search bro.

I'm not a fan of rcmart but they have some mini bodys...never heard colt, Kinda bootleg looking. I wonder if they could take a beating.

Hey guys. Last Sunday I lost my king pins for my m05. I had the upgraded front aliminum uprights. As you guys know with the parts that you get in the hop up bag, it's not a normal king pin. It's more of a threaded screw then a king pin. I lost 2 of them so I need to buy a replacement screw. Does anyone know the thread pattern that those screws have?

I run the Colt New Beetle and it preforms great, just posted new fastest lap with it.
It is round, light, low and takes quite a good beating. With little overhang in front and none what so ever rear it's hard to knock it offline too. Great racebody!
Infact I am so happy with it that i have ordered 2 more to keep in spare.
They have them with free shipping on ebay now.

They are 3x10mm philips head screws. You can probably use any 3x10mm button head (hex) screw.

You might want to use some blue threadlock on the screws to prevent them from backing out.

Guys, couldn't you have left this thread where it was instead of dredging it up again?

It's much easier to have all the Mini chat in the ONE thread - on the Tamiya Mini Cooper one please?....

It's not like we're discussing anything different on this one...

Hi, I need help with a good setup for an M05 with Tamiya Sport Tuned motor on a low grip outdoor ashpalt track. The track isn't very technical. Its made up of 4 hairpins, and 1 high speed sweeper.

Locals say: Super Grips, 30wt oil all round, Springs Frt-Blue Rr-Yellow. But this just doesn't sound right so was hoping for reassurance or other solid options

help!!!!!

Shock oil Frt/Rr =
Shock Springs Frt/Rr =
Droop (Shock spacers Frt/Rr) =
Tires Frt/Rr =
Toe in/out =
Anything else???

Thx....
