I remember reading in the redrc.net review that it would be wise to purchase a "circlip" tool. What size and where can I purchase one? Does Stormer Hobbies sell one, as I am going to put an order in with them.

Also, about the new arms. I will be running on med-high traction asphalt, would it be wise to purchase the new short arms? What about the old Mi3 alloy arm mounts?

A absolute yes on the arm mounts. If you want to run sweep ,kickup or antidive. For the circlip pliers i went to harbor freight and bought a small pair.

You should be able to hop into sears and find some too. Or if you're REALLY cheap you can grind down the tips of some body scissors....

I am the only racer to ever go thru pit lane at full speed at Speedworld. I'm a legend man.

That's for sure!

I haven't laughed that much in a day of racing in years.

I have a question. How are you guys measuring droop with the MI4? The setup sheets say one thing but then trying to achieve it is another. Im guess the way they are measuring is the chassis flat on the setup board and the bottom of the arm from the pitboard? When you do this it has tremendous amount of droop! I used to use the lift method but it doesnt seem right.

One more, the rear end keeps sliding out on entry through mid turn, how you guys fixing that? I put thicker shims on the rear camber link and it seems to help, also removed the swaybars with also gave alot of grip all around, any suggestions? I am running stock setup, minus swaybars and camber shim!

I measure my droop on droop blocks to the bottom of the arm under the hubs.

if you are racing on asphalt try my set up , its feel that is very good, plenty of steering and rear end grip.
Its the last set up on this link

Thanks Aaron and Adam. Made an order through Stormer for the Mi3 gray belts, gray blades, and hard and medium arms. I did not order the alloy mounts as the order plus car is well above $500 now...

I'm not one to use sweep, or adjust the angle of the hinge pins for antidive or kickup generally so I will wait.

Your a Legend, in your own mind. Russ drove through pit lane full throttle YEARS AGO.

Besides Slash racers do it every Oval slash race at SWR, lap after lap!!!

Anyways full speed with a tekin is SLOWER then a stock Slash!!!
