I got my Mi4LP on Friday evening. Thanks Adam. Got 1/2 of it built at the track yesterday. Can't wait to get it on the track. Hope to run some laps on Wednesday. We have the Grand Slam Race this weekend.

Kenny,

i just started to put your set-up on my mi3.5 and to get 48.2mm between centerlines on the ballstuds i have to put 7mm worth of link washers on which will work but to get the 54.2 mm between centers in the rear i have to run 10mm of link washers and on the mi3.5 the locating pin sticking out of the bulkhead for the link mounts are not long enough so i have to go to work and machine up some new pins and use those for the set-up..

i do have a quick question : you say on the set-up sheet you are running short arms up front only . you think i would be ok running short c/f on the rear as well? and would i have to add 1mm to your current screw block spacer setting to make up for the difference in arm length?

who was it that said they used a 9650 steering servo on thier sedan?

it fits the LP perfectly using the existing holes in the chassis, you just have to flip the forward servo mount to the other side of the servo.

btw, complete with body and TP5000 1375.

I installed a 9650 steering servo. No problem.

I would be worried about the ballstud mounts with that many shims, haynes ran 3mm all around when he had the Mi3.5, we know those things can bend so I would keep a close eye on them. I keep looking at the bulkheads trying to find a way to rig up the Mi4 plates

definately i know what you mean so i am going to make longer locating pins and then i am going to have shims on the pin as well to beef it up.
but i am looking at the car as well to see if i could machine up a mount to run mi4 plates on it.
