I will be willing to build some custom plates, however it will need to hold till the next scheduled run of plates. Bottom line it will be an estimated 60 days before I expect to make next run. Sorry I wasn't able to help sooner, but... new chassis, design changes and rippling effect in process.

Yeah making the plate a 5 cell plate would be the easiest. I dont think the car needs that much weight anyhow to balance it with the motor pushed in. So it might work perfect!

Very happy to report it was a very good weekend for both cars, TQ'd and won both classes. with the Mi4 i ran two heats with no changes to get a good feel for the car and make sure the new tires and new LTC-R body were doing there job. for the third heat i swapped the bottom chassis for the 2.0 option chassis and the car came alive, way more corner speed and rotation. car went and stayed where i wanted it to. I pushed it really deep into a few corners to see what would happen, other then running a little wide, the car stayed planted. I'm thrilled with the Mi4. Back to mod with the Mi4 and 13.5 with the Mi3
You liking the LTC? I got a speed 6 and a ltc painted up for my MI4 to mess with. Sounds like the ltc has more steering, which I looooooveeeeeee

Default MI4 TQ!!

Once again the MI4 does it! TQ but couldn't pull off the win due to a back marker hitting me when I was coming pass to lap him. I have a good medium bite asphalt set-up for any one that is interested!! The MI4 is an awesome car on the asphalt!! I haven't been able to test it on the rug yet but I hope to get some practice soon! Thanks again Schumacher

How's everyone finding the balance with the mi4 regarding lipo on one side and electronics on the other. Are you adding weight to the lipo side? Knowing that weight limits are 1425g, are you keeping to the low weight, or adding more weight to keep the car balanced.

Thanks

Shev

I am running 70 grams along side of the battery. I used two balancing pins in the center of the chassis and it seems to be really close. I am going to buy 4 minature scales in the near future to see how close everything is!! I also pushed the motor as far to the inside as I can get it without the motor touching the spur. Also make sure the rotor shaft doesn't touch the lipo case. I am running the lipo as close to the center line as possible. I noticed a big difference when you slide the battery to the outside edge. Car likes to snap with all of the weight hanging out there like that!!
