You're not alone. There is an LP and the original Mi4 still running at my track.

Any tips for freeing up the drivetrain? My CXL is smooth, but doesnt have that loose free feeling. the belts are on the least tension setting too. Ceramic bearings needed? Do the avid bearings need the grease pulled out?

Funny story - Bought a used MI4 way back as my first TC. Sold it after about 4 years when I bought a house and needed extra funds. Ended up posting a wanted ad for MI4s to stock up on parts and ended up getting my exact car back. LOL!

mi6evo is currently USGT
mi4cxl is can-am (soon to swap with mi6
mi4 is a beater to drive around with my daughter

Found my drivetrain issue. Rear gear diff was leaking and gummed up the diff bearing.

Most probably dont give a damn since this is so old but my Can-Am spec CXL is .2s off the pace of the latest mid-motor Awesomatix. My driving could use some cleaning up and the pig needs dropped from 1400 to 1350 grams, but it's still competitive!

50grams off will yield alot more than .2s for sure....Good to see old cars still getting it done....Good luck and stick with it....

my Mi4 lp is 1422 g and is doing good I like the extra weight...to me it gives the motor something to work against.
