The rollcenter and springs/damping makes the big difference for response in the car. If the CX is more responsive, it's because of a higher rollcenter, the wishbones are higher up relative to the chassi vs the LP, the HPI silver springs are a bit softer than the Pinks, and will let the CX have a little more steering due to more weighttransfer to the frontwheels. Is the trackwidth the same between the two cars front and rear ?

Im running a cx softweave chassis on my original mi4. Gave me alot more steering and when i put the thicker top deck on (not the full length one) its now handling the best it ever has

Sorry for dumb question. I have an 8.5 viper that i am gonna run in car. I have a 90,96,106 spur 64p. What is a starting point for a pinion gear? I tried searching with no luck.
Thanks for any help!

I saw on the side ETS Italy the new version of MI4CXL
So I was a bit disappointed. The platform MI4 it alrady since 2009.
I had thought that schumacher brings new car.
The chassis features a new chassis plate. Wihch was already tested in summer in England. The Sway Bar is new. And there´s a new steering was also long been known. The chassis is not a further development of more shame...

Im glad to see the Mi4CXL isn't a whole new car.
The Mi4 line is already very capable and parts are readily available.
Schumacher has just put all the little test parts into a single package.
They did not need to reinvent the wheel, just refine what you have already developed.
Next season when I upgrade from my LP's I will still have alot of spares that will work.
Thank you Schumacher.

can anyone help with a handling problem i cant seem to solve.
I have problems with lift off oversteer and its annoying me as i cant seem to shift it. Setup is Currently.
Mi4 with CX softweave chassis, 3mm top deck, CX front and rear driveshafts, CX Spool, CX spec R gear diff, Tamiya TRF shocks.
2* front camber
1* Rear camber
3* rear toe in
0.5* front toe in
White Schuie springs all round
40wt shock oil all round
2 hole pistons all round
Shocks in middle hole on shock tower front and rear
Droop 4 front 6 rear
Flipped transmission
100wt diff oil
Any ideas, I have played with droop and shock position but it isnt helping.
Thanks

Also, the white all-around combo is something I tried extensively with this car when I ran it. Most times I would end up going back to my go to springs of Xray 3.0F/2.6R, or BlueF/WhiteR. The white spring made the car roll way too much in the front end, creating off power oversteer.
Your camber settings could also contribute. Honestly though, I think we could help a lot more if you posted a complete setup sheet. Just gives us a little more insight.

On your droop settings, is this a downstop number?

your springs are fine.....depending on your tires, id start the camber at 1 1/2 degrees front and rear
